If you struggle with:
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO)
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)(Crohn’s, Ulcerative Colitis)
You are in the right place!
GI symptoms especially disrupt people's lives: in addition to the uncomfortable and painful physical symptoms, they have an emotional and social burden. I believe that, with the right information and tools, people with GI disorders can greatly improve their quality of life.
How does it work?
Book your complimentary “Restore Your Gut” session (over the phone) to discuss your specific situation.
I will provide you with a personalized nutrition plant that best fits your diagnosis, symptoms, overall health status, dietary preferences and lifestyle.
You will have one or more consultations with me and I all the tools you need to succeed.
Depending on your needs, you can choose from:
One-time consult (60-90 minutes)
Initial assessment and consult (90 minutes) and follow-up appointments (up to 60 minutes)
Low FODMAP Diet Package (3 consults, 1 phone check-in, email support over the course of 8-10 weeks).
Each consult comes with informative and practical handouts, shopping guides, recipes designed for your condition and other tools to make your journey to improved digestive health and symptom management as easy as possible.
Research conducted at Monash University in Australia has shown that 3 in 4 patients with IBS experience symptoms relief from following a low FODMAP diet – and that these positive effects can be maintained in the long term.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance?
I accept a few insurance types and plans. Please, call me to discuss details of your insurance coverage. If your insurance is not among the ones I accept, you will need to pay out of pocket and I will provide you with a SuperBill with the necessary codes and information to submit to your insurance as proof of service and payment. Your insurance company may then reimburse you for the full amount or for part of the services paid.
I have some GI symptoms but I do not have a clear diagnosis yet. Can I book an appointment?
It is best to have a diagnosis from your primary care physician or gastroenterologist before booking an appointment. Your diagnosis will decide the nutrition plan that is right for you. In addition, as GI symptoms are similar across different GI disorders, you need to find out what is the correct medical treatment for your specific disorder. After you have been diagnosed, I will be happy to help you with a nutrition plan that’s right for you.
Are you a FODMAP Diet Specialist?
Yes! I have been trained by Monash University on the low FODMAP Diet. Monash University created the concept of FODMAPs and has been the leader in the research on the low FODMAP diet for IBS and other GI conditions. I have FODMAP and digestive health training from other sources and stay abreast of the research and attend conferences on these topics several times a year. I am also a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), a national certification which requires a minimum of a bachelors degree and at least 1200 hours of supervised clinical experience.
Where do you practice?
I live in Santa Cruz, California and see clients in person in Santa Cruz, Los Gatos and the vicinity. I also see clients who don’t live in this area using a secure video conferencing tool. I was hesitant at first but have had a great experience with it: it really feels like being in the same room with my client! It allows me to form a deep connection with my clients, and the best part is you don’t have to fight traffic, or take time out of work to see me!
